Brown sugar and butter make the already sweet braised carrot even more decadent.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound carrots
1/8 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
Salt
TOOLS YOU NEED
Abbio Sauce Pan
Cutting Board

Measuring Cups

Peel carrots and cut into 1 inch thick slices
RECIPE DIRECTIONS
Melt butter in Abbio Sauce Pan on medium-low heat until it begins to brown, about 3 minutes.
When the butter begins to smell nutty and begins to foam scrape the browned bits off of the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon and add the carrots to the pan.
Add brown sugar and thyme. Season with salt and toss to combine.
Cover and cook on extremely low heat, stirring the carrots every every 10-15 minutes, for about and hour or until they are cooked to your desired tenderness.
