Tuna Melt

TOOLS YOU NEED

    PREP

    • Drain tuna well and set aside 
    • If using dill, rough chop and set aside 

    RECIPE DIRECTIONS

    1. Position a rack 8 inches from the broiler element and heat the broiler to high.
    2. In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, tomato, red onion, olives, dill, vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
    3. Put the bread on an Abbio Sauté Pan and broil until nicely toasted - about 1 minute.
    4. Remove the pan from the broiler, flip the bread over, and spread the tuna over each slice.
    5. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the tuna and continue to broil until the cheese is melted and beginning to brown, another 1 minute or so. 
    6. Enjoy!
